These beautiful, wooden, polygon stud earrings in a shape of a 8 – point star will make a lovely gift not only for sacred geometry lover! They are very pretty, light and easy to wear all year round. They will complete your boho/hippie look. Great festival accessory.

They were made in our small studio from 3mm birch plywood which was cut and engraved using our laser cutter. They close with steel stud and were varnished to ensure protection from humidity (so you can wear them also in wet months).

8 – point star plays a very important role in many cultures. To mention a few it was a symbol of the ancient Sumerian goddess Inanna and her East Semitic counterpart Ishtar. In Indian culture it represents Lakshmi.It was used during Majapahit times in Indonesia to represent the Hindu gods of the directions. As a compass rose it symbolised the cardinal directions for the eight principal winds.
